by Lee (Corpus Christi, TX) 6 reviews We also have a 12 inch scanpan. They are not all-purpose, but for nonstick searing and easy cleanup they are simply the best. Thick aluminum heats as evenly as cast iron but much more quickly. We've only had our larger one for a couple of years, but the nonstick finish is still like new and appears to last as well as promised. Do follow the recommendations for cleaning (a quick rinse with running water while the pan is still hot).

The amazing Scanpan nonstick makes clean up a breeze, and if you want to, you can even put it in the dishwasher (Scanpan doesn't recommend this, but they admit the possibilitiy). The pan heats really evenly and I really cannot recommend Scanpan strongly enough.
