Start your day with the smell of fresh brewed coffee. This Cuisinart coffee maker can actually save you time in the morning. Pour in your fresh coffee beans and it grinds them for you, then brews a tasty pot of coffee, ready when you are. Set the timer in advance to grind and brew automatically. The built-in charcoal filter eliminates chlorine and bad odors from tap water, so you get a freshly brewed pot every time. Program it for a preset time and let the fresh aroma wake you in the morning. The glass carafe hold 12 cups of coffee and you can even interrupt the process to grab a cup before it's done, thanks to the Brew Pause feature. An audible tone lets you know when the entire pot is brewed. The machine has a grind shut-off feature so coffee that's already been ground can be used. The unit shuts off automatically after being on for 4 hours. The blade grinder removes for easy cleanup - just rinse under hot water, towel dry and it's ready to brew again! In black, it makes a modern statement at your bar or kitchen counter.

by Karen (Lyme, NH) 1 review I read all the reviews I could find on this reasonably-priced all-in-one grind fresh beans and make a great cup of coffee rig. For the price it is well worth it. However, cleaning it is a bear! It's not enough to rinse and dry all the various parts (6) each time you use it. There are nicks and crannies you need to work at; especially under the grinder blades. I haven't come up with a suitable way to clean it efficiently!
