Cuisinart Black Grind & Brew Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe:

Compact and sleek, this Cuisinart coffee maker does it all. Pour in your favorite coffee beans and it automatically grinds them for you. The built-in charcoal filter eliminates chlorine and bad odors from tap water, so you get a fresh brewed pot every time. Program it for a preset time and let the fresh aroma wake you in the morning. The thermal carafe holds up to 10 cups of coffee and you can even interrupt the process to grab a cup before it's done, thanks to the Brew Pause feature. Push a button and it will brew from one to four cups only; adjust the amount of beans accordingly. An audible tone lets you know when the entire pot is brewed. The grinder (in the top above the coffee maker and carafe) removes for easy cleanup - just rinse under hot water and towel dry and it's ready to brew again! The thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for several hours, so even if you're away for a bit, you can still enjoy a hot, steamy cup when you return. Comes with a Gold Tone filter (paper filters not needed).

Rather Disappointing Given the Write-Up

We ordered this coffee maker because it contained a grinder and was advertised as a machine that would produce a fabulous, freshly ground cup of coffee which would capture the essence of the beans and impart a perfect cup of coffee each time you brewed.
Well, two or three weeks into having this machine, I am still trying to get that elusive perfect cup and am fairly confident it is not going to happen. Perhaps this is the perfect machine for people who do not like a strong cup of coffee. But as a lover of strong coffee, as I continue to experiment, I have found that to get the rich and strong cup I like to drink, I have to fill the grinder with as many beans as it can hold, and then only make about 1/2 (5 cups) of coffee; otherwise, the coffee is exceedingly weak. The coffeemaker actually produces a stronger cup, at least so far in my trials, when I use preground beans, because then I can make more cups at a time. But that means that having the grinder, and the extra cost that entailed, was a waste of money.
Also, this coffee maker seems to be very sensitive and not that well-made. We've already had one major overflow, where all the water, grinds, etc. spilled out of the machine and created a huge mess that took 1/2 hour to clean up, apparently because I had the handle of the gold-mesh filter resting on the wrong side of the filter, which for some reason caused the water not to flow through the filter but instead overflow out of the maker and all over everything. What a mess.
Had I not already discarded the box, I would have returned this coffee maker. I know that $150 will not buy you the best coffee maker, but this one falls far short of what I think $150 should get you.

I ordered this coffee maker from the web site of Bakers and Cooks in Ocala, Fl.
I prefer to buy locally when possible and was happy to find this product on their web site.
I have been very pleased with the product.

Excellent Thermal carafe as it really keeps the coffee hot. I like the option of grind or regular brew.

Moisture

Moisture from the steam enters the grinder container and clogs the output. A good cup of coffee using regular ground coffee but not woth the extra money for the grind option.

For the construction, not worth the money. Feel the coffee beans a ground too too
fine. Door pops open by itself at times. Not much better than a $40 dollar brewer.
