by James (KNOXVILLE, TN) 1 review The Skillet is well built and large enough to heat a lot of food. Handle is strongly fastened and is not wimpy. Clean up is fast and easy.
by Brian (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) 1 review A Terrific product and we got it for a terrrific price. We use a wok cover most of the time when cooking with it. It would have been a perfect purchase had it come with a cover. Super easy cleanup as nothing has stuck to it. I am very happy.
by Jim Bob (Bryan, TX) 4 reviews I have a friend who has a rather large set of the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless, 10 piece I think. While shopping at a rather large department store in our local mall, she spotted this particular skillet and commented about wanting some nonstick cookware as well. This skillet retailed for about $110.
With that in mind, I went to Cooking.com and found the same item for around $40!!! (this price includes shipping!!!!!!) When her skillet arrived (on the exact date Cooking.com said it would) we were amazed at the quality.
She has since used the skillet for about every meal since then and the skillet is as good as the day she started using it.
I've since found out this particular item is no longer available on Cooking.com. Calphalon still makes it and can be found at retail stores but you pay the price...
