It operates by a single switch control and comes with a Keep Warm setting in case it's ready before you are. The lid locks tightly to hold in moisture; the nonstick interior offers quick cleanup. Has a cool-touch exterior, a built-in retractable cord and comes with a spatula, spatula holder and measuring cup. Note: Although you can use this cooker to prepare brown rice, an additional step is involved. You must first soak the brown rice in water before cooking, at least four hours or overnight for best results.

by Delio (Sierra Vista, AZ) 1 review All I can tell you is you can spend a lot more money for a rice cooker but you will never get a better one...my dad gave me the exact one 16 years ago in Hawaii...I only bought a new one because the finish inside the cooker was wearing a bit. I bought a fancier one at first and waited all day for the rice to cook...gave it away and bought this baby for a lot less. Thank You Jerry in Arizona
by therese (Plano, TX) 1 review After my Aroma rice cooker started to give me somewhat burned rice at the bottom, I was debating to buy the TIGER or Zojirushi rice cooker as they are very popular among Asian, we used it almost daily. I decided to buy the Zojirushi because I had a gift certificate. I have used this for about a month now and it's been a good product. These brands are high in price, but they should last a long time. Very easy to used and the rice comes out very well.
