by Georgia (San Clemente, CA) 1 review This blender was a big disappointment, knowing Viking's reputation for quality build products. First of all the blender itself has very basic controls and way too many cheap plastic components. Also I put some ice inside to see how well it crushes it and couldn't do it. I bought it to replace my kitchenaid blender and to my surprise it was way worst. Viking shouldn't put their name on into such an inferior product. I had to return it.
by Mary Beth (Bedford, NH) 1 review The Viking Bar Blender works well and has a solid look to it. It is pretty tall when assembled (about 18 inches), so if you plan to keep it on a countertop under a cabinet, make sure you have enough clearance.

It also looks stunning on the countertop (people even remark on it). My only negative criticism is that the first blending level isn't powerful enough to be of much use; I usually have to skip straight to level 2. Highly recommended.

Viking works wonderfully. no problems thus far. one small complaint is that the jar doesn't pour as nice as it should, spout needs to be bigger to pour better. Other than that it blends circles around the the Kit Aid. Would highly recommend this. Great bargin when on sale.
