by Beverley (Jamaica, NY) 26 reviews I purchased this mixer to replace a 14 year old Kenwood Chef Deluxe mixer I had. It is everything I need and more. Very sturdy construction, and I did not have to adjust any of the beaters. The only gripe I have, is that the mixer does not come with its own cover (my old Kenwood did). However, I expect this one to last as long as its predecessor.
by Alesia (Moravia, NY) 1 review I absolutely love the new mixer. It is attractive and will last a long time. The service was great and the delivery was prompt and I have no complaints about anything.
by William (Richmond, KY) 3 reviews My husband just bought this for me about 3 weeks ago. I had to replace my kitchenaid that I had for 12 years! I didn't like the way they cheapened down the kitchenaid. So we bought the Viking! I really like it!!! I have used it several times with wonderful results! We had to adjust the implements. However, that was no big deal! I love the large attachments! I have made delicious breads and different cookies and cakes... with marvelous results! I would recomend this product highly! Yes it might be a little spendy... However you do get what you pay for!
by Paul (Simi Valley, CA) 1 review It was expensive but my old 1960's era mixer died. This mixer is impressive. Mixes well with very little scraping necessary on the sides of the bowl by hand. One thing though, it is very heavy and it came in 3 boxes like some kind of puzzle box. But regarless, its outstanding so far. One thing I would suggest is buying a mixer blade that actually has a built in wiper on the edges. The one I found that fits is not all stainless but once adjusted for depth, does a very good job. I have read that some say it does not mix well at the bottom. Even though the attachment paddle comes from the mfg calibrated, I found it necessary to make further adjustments. Not a big deal to do just need to take the time to adjust, test, and adjust again as necessary. Once done and locked in, no further action is required. Can not comment on the attachments since I could not afford them at the time of this purchase but will later once obtained.
