OXO Mandoline Slicer:

Having the blades on a rotater is wonderful as I do not have to change out blades when cutting different items, also makes cutting quicker. Pieces are easy to clean, as they slide right out & back in.
by Vicky (Brownwood, TX) 2 reviews Doesn't slice as well as I'd like. I use it to cut cucumbers for pickles and to make julienne fries with potatoes or sweet potatoes. The ripple cutter is too small to make waffle fries. The disk to hold and push the food through ends up gouging the food and doesn't hold it well at all. I end up using my hand and will probably cut myself one day.
by Linda (Palm Bay, FL) 1 review I just purchased 2 of these for gifts, I have had mine for over 3 years and it is just as sharp today and when i first started using. but the feature I love the best that it is self contained. changing the size (thickness) just turn the dial. Different cut - smooth or crinkle - just flip over the blade. Everything is washable,easy to clean and stores as a complete unit.

The cutting blade is too dull to work with other than hard items such as potatoes. The holding tines on the handset do not penetrate food so the slicing is uneven and difficult. I am not satisfied.
