Terracotta Garlic Baker:
This large baker holds several heads of garlic so you'll have plenty for using in your recipes or for spreading on crispy bruschetta - an appetizer delicacy! The inside is glazed for easier cleanup while the outside has a naturally textured surface. Be sure to soak it in water before placing it in the oven to help prevent cracking. The lid helps hold in the moisture so your garlic is succulent and buttery soft once baked.

It`s big enough for three small bulbs or one elephant garlic. My only consern was that it didn`t come with any instuctions or recipes, I had to go on-line to find out cooking temperatures and times. Friends of mine say that they had to soak their terracotta baker in water before use, since this one didn`t have instructions I didn`t do this, it is glazed on the inside and worked just fine without soaking. I`m still not sure if I should or not.
