by Julie (Index, WA) 1 review My first stick blender was the type that had a removable stick and it stripped out very quickly. This blender is one piece, feels very solid and is easy to clean. I've made hummus several times with it and while it probably isn't as speedy as a regular blender for pureeing things like chickpeas it is SO convenient

I thought you can use this blender in the pot to mix all your ingridents. Just really disappointed in this product. the blade is small. it does not mix well.
