by Deborah (Pen Argyl, PA) 1 review I love this Cuisinart Toaster--It is great looking on my countertop--love the warranty that Cuisinart gives on all of their appliances--best out there. works great --every feature-- Bagles--Defrost--etc. have used this daily since purchase. This is the 3rd Cuisinart small appliance I have purchased-have food processor and coffee maker--extreamly happy with all.
by Camille (Syosset, NY) 4 reviews While its quite convenient to toast 4 slices at a time, I did notice that the dials were not exactly in sync. A 3 on one side is about a 3.5 on the other. A mile adjustment and knowing the idiosyncracies is all thats needed.
by Meaghanna (Teasdale, UT) 1 review I needed a nice toaster for the lobby of a small hotel. This one is very attractive and not too bulky and wide. Ninety dollars seems like a lot of money for a toaster, but I would pay that again for such a great looking one. I give it four stars because the heating elements on the outside sides of the toaster get hotter than the others and cause browning to be uneven for the bread in those outer slots. This isn't a big problem, but it makes this appliance less than perfect.
I first used the toaster for frozen bread and was amazed at how moist and perfectly even it toasted. In the past, the bread was usually like cardboard when toasted.
by Megan (Lake Orion, MI) 1 review We were looking for a four-slice toaster and this one fit perfectly with our kitchen decor. I love how the adjustable slots hold everything from toast to big, thick bagels. The special settings are very nice too. We've only had this toaster for a couple of weeks, but my parents have had the two-slice version for almost a year with no problems.
After shopping around, I got the best deal (including the best shipping rate) from cooking.com. I would always recommend Cuisinart, but now I will also not hesitate to recommend cooking.com!
