Krups WaffleChef Belgian Waffle Iron:

From the Krups line of innovative products comes the Waffle Chef, a four-at-a-time waffle maker designed for making thick Belgian waffles in just four minutes - just enough time for setting the table with butter, syrup, fresh fruit and other toppings of choice. Once ready, your waffles will slide right out thanks to the nonstick cooking plates. The exterior is made of sleek chrome with a cool-touch insulated handle. Near the handle is a light that signals when the waffle maker is preheated and ready to bake. For ease of storing, a latch on the handle closes tightly so the entire unit can be stored upright. Has a hidden cord storage area, and comes with a recipe booklet. (Item #210951) w10

We were given a Krups Waffel Iron last year and by some horrible experience we dropped it.(boo Hoo). We tried to find another but to no avail soooo we bought another make waffle Iron. We were very disappointed in the finished waffle and also the price. We gave that one awasy and realized we could get the Krups waffle Iron on line. We are having wonderful waffels again. Try to keep Krups in the stores as well as on line.

My daughter has the 2-waffle version of this Belgian Waffle Maker. It makes
terrific waffles, but the capacity of 2 waffles at a time makes it difficult to feed
a large breakfast crowd in a short time, so I purchased the larger waffle iron.
In 4 minutes, I have 4 waffles and in less than 15 minutes, I have enough
tasty waffles to satisfy everyone at the breakfast table! The iron browns both
sides of the waffles beautifully - dark golden crust on the outside, tender and
moist on the inside - and the 1-inch depth insures plenty of pockets to hold
butter and maple syrup. I will admit that the first batch stuck to the bottom of the iron, but a quick spritz with cooking oil solved that issue. I've used this iron so often that it is now well-seasoned and waffles no longer stick. It heats rapidly,
cooks evenly and the upright storage feature makes it a perfect fit in my cabinet.

This is a good product, but you must season it well and make sure you put enough spray on pam or whatever. My first batch of waffles did not come out well. The next time I used it, they were perfect. So, would probably suggest doing a test run.

I purchased this waffle iron because we love waffles. My old iron lasted 15 years but only made a single waffle. I was forever getting food to the table.

This iron makes four delicious serving at a time. I love it. The waffles are crisp and tender. Easy to clean. I often add fruit to the batter and use yogurt as a sauce. Compliments from all ages. Extra waffles are great re-heated in the toaster. I highly recommend this machine.
