Mr. Coffee Coffee and Espresso Machine:
This machine combines both coffee maker and espresso machine for the discerning beverage aficionado. The coffee maker prepares as few as two cups or as many as eight cups of freshly brewed coffee - you can even select the strength that you want from mild to bold. A pause-and-serve feature lets you grab a cup even while brewing; a cone filter basket removes for easy filling and cleaning. The water reservoir is also removable for easy filling. The espresso portion prepares two to four cups; the steam control is variable for that perfect cup. Comes with a swiveling frothing aid, a pressure safety valve and a removable drip tray.
An innovative leader in the coffee-making industry, the brand Mr. Coffee made its brewing debut in the 1970s. Endorsed by baseball legend Joe DiMaggio, Mr. Coffee was one of the first to introduce a "programmable timer - delayed start" feature allowing you to set the timer before you go to bed for a that first fresh cup the moment you wake up. They also pioneered the "pause and serve" feature that lets you sneak a cup before the brew cycle is completed. Now a part of Sunbeam Products, Inc., Mr. Coffee brand includes many specialty items for the coffee connoisseur like espresso and cappuccino makers, iced tea and hot chocolate makers plus a handsome lineup of accessories.

by William (Tulsa, OK) 1 review This was the perfect coffeemaker for us. It is one of the few that fits between the counter top and the cabinets. The integrated expresso maker allowed us to get rid of one we had and gain significant space.
by Erik (Newton, MA) 2 reviews We wanted to reclaim some counter space and when our coffee maker started to die, a combination coffee/espresso machine made sense. This model was well reviewed as affordable and decent quality. It's a little more plasticy than my ten year old Krups espresso machine and doesn't produce quite as much steam, but it does seem to work well enough to make our coffee/espresso.
The 1-4 vs. 5-8 cup setting on the coffee maker is a nice feature since most of the time we're only making coffee for 1 or 2, but it brews quite well on that setting with only 2 cups of water.
by MICHAEL (CHOWCHILLA, CA) I like the dual purpose of the machine, and it is fairly quick and quiet in action. I also like the assembly for the water reservoir, easy to remove fill and replace. BUT, the reason I replaced my old 4 cup Mr Coffee was that it left me a pool of water on the counter after brewing, and guess what? That feature must be built in! I set my pot up the night before, so I can just stumble out in the morning and flip the switch. Then when I get ready to set it up again, the counter is wet beneath the machine. Must be condensation, but there should be some way to engineer that away, and Mr. Coffee should get right on it! Also, the steamer nozzle is a bit low to get a pitcher under for frothing, so plan on using a shallow pitcher, since if you tip it too far, you have spilled milk instead of steamed milk. I think this is my last Mr. Coffee.
by Connie Sue (PAMPA, TX) 1 review I read that Mr. Coffee line of products all had auto shut off. I should have done more research as this one does not! It also does not fill the carafe with coffee, even when I fill the reservior all the way. On the positive side, it makes a good cup of coffee and is simple to use.
