You put everything you need in the pot set the time and go. "that it" Everything turn out great the meat was tender, vegetables were very seasoned. I had the whole day to just lay around the house. I will never give it up.
by Mary (Lynnwood, WA) 1 review Overall, I'm pleased with the programmable crockpot but the programmable function isn't what I thought it would be. You can't choose a separate time and temperature. There are 4 programmable settings, High/4 hrs, High/6, Low/8 hrs, Low/10 hrs.

For meals that are smaller or require a gravy/sauce in which to cook this was perfect. My first (ever) crockpot meal was a brisquet that turned out perfectly and I am always confident in the Rival brand. I look forward to many, many more uses as the winter months loom large!
