by celia (harveyville, KS) 1 review i bought 2 of these and thought they were so pretty and nice when i opened the box. the first time i used one was to boil 4 eggs. i always use some vinegar and salt in the water to make peeling easier and to coagulate the white if the shell cracks. as soon as i was finished i noticed pitting on the bottome inside of the pan. i thought it must be poor quality to do that. i was surprised because the emerilware looks very good and should be good in my opinion. i notified the kraft store and was told that it had been discontinued so couldnt be replaced. they credited my card for one of them. i can still use it so am verysatisfied with the service.
by Barbara (New York, NY) 2 reviews While this saucier looks good and is a good quality, it's off balance and tips, especially when empty. I have used it only once, since I'm afraid to leave it without holding the handle, for fear it will tip and spill the contents on the burner.
by Fred (Oak Hill, VA) 1 review Very well made. Beautiful to look at. A pleasure to use BUT THE HANDLE IS TOO HEAVY! Once the ingredients are in the saucier it does its job perfectly. BUT before the ingredients are in the darn thing will upset.
The saucier is so attractive that I have been tempted to leave it on the stovetop just because I enjoy seeing it. BUT, it is so off balance that it tips over.
Even so, I enjoy it so much that I make my morning instant coffee in it every day.
