Cuisinart Toaster:
This retro version of the classic toaster, featured in racy red, features extra wide slots to accommodate thick slices of artisan breads or crunchy waffles. In addition, Cuisinart's toaster from its Red Series has six browning settings, Reheat, Defrost and Bagel buttons, all with LED indicators. Use the extra-lift carriage lever to remove smaller slices. Includes slide out crumb tray and convenient cord wrap for storage.

by Karen (Sheridan, WY) 1 review It handles thick slices of homemade bread very nicely and does a nice job of browning evenly. I do like the fact that it toasts the outside and leaves the inside nice and chewy. Haven't toasted bagels yet, but I'm sure they'll toast wonderfully. A very nice product!

Toasting white bread on setting 1 is too dark, way too dark. English muffins on 9 are burnt, 7 is Ok. I wish toaster controls were on the side so the toaster would not stick out from the wall so much.
