From Oneida, this professional-weight roaster is made of polished aluminum with a nonstick interior and rack for quick cleanup. Use it with or without the rack (it is removable) for roasting a chicken, cooking a holiday turkey or a pork tenderloin. The roaster has cast aluminum handles that are riveted for added strength as you lift it from the oven and carry to your countertop.

Good for large jobs but too big for regular use by an average family of four you could fit a roast chicken and vegetables and still have room left over. It came very well packed (almost overkill) - the Oneida box was inside a much larger carton with lots of packing material. Unfortunately, I was surprised (because of all that packing) to found that something was wrong with one side of the pan. It wasn't dented - it just gently curved in toward the middle, almost as if the metal were still hot when the handle was riveted on and the pressure pushed it inward. It definitely seemed to be something that happened during manufacture rather than mishandling during shipping. I returned the pan because it was misformed and because it was too large for my day-to-day cooking needs. However, if you need a larger sized pan, this one appeared well made (other than the problem described above) and worth the price I would think the fact that it was misformed was an unusual case.

If you care about the bottom of your pan, then be careful when pulling the pan in and out of the oven. I inadvertently left big scratches on the bottom of the beautiful stainless steel b/c I wasn't paying attention when I pulled it out to baste the turkey. This is a great roaster.
