Trudeau Raclette with Grill Set:
The Swiss have a favorite dish that incorporates melted cheese over boiled potatoes, served with gherkins. It's called "raclette" and was named after the French word "racler" which means "to scrape", a process by which melted cheese is scraped off the block or stone when it was made years ago. This handy grill set lets you enjoy various versions of raclette paired with grilled favorites such as steak, seafood and poultry. The grill plus the eight cooking pans below are all nonstick so there's actually no "scraping" at all! The unit also includes eight heat-resistant spatulas for serving from the dishes. A powerful 1200 watts, it also has a variable thermostat control so you can control how hot you want to grill. It's a great way to prepare an entire meal all in one place!

by Benno (Midvale, UT) 1 review This is a great raclette set at a very reasonable price. We used to do raclette on a regular basis when we lived in Germany and had been looking for a raclette set here in the US for quite a while. Usually what we found was either not quite the same as what we were used to or it was way too expensive. This raclette set is very close to what we had in Germany and it is very reasonably priced. We have used it twice already and it works great.
by Shelley (Gold Beach, OR) 1 review We purchased the Trudeau Raclette Grill after having a traditional raclette dinner in the Savoie region of France. This model worked very well for 4 people, but may be a bit small for larger parties. Worked wonderfully and very easy to clean up.
by Sarah (Garner, NC) 1 review Very nice raclette set with everything you need. I like the non-stick surface and the fact that the spatulas can with it. I had a set in the past that was enamel and horrible to clean - this set is so much nicer!
by Regina (Cumming, GA) 1 review I used to live in the northern part of France, Arras to be exact. I was invited to several Raclette dinners hosted by French families. Being an American, this was a great experience for me to get to know everyone that I was working with. Very fond memories that I wanted to recapture in purchasing this, & I wasn't disappointed. Clean up was a breeze! We used it with raclette cheese, boiled small Yukon potatoes, sliced saucisson ŕ l'ail, steamed broccoli & cauliflower, French bread & some cold cuts. In France, there was no grill on top of the machines but we loved being able to braise the sausage, reheat the broccoli & cauliflower on top of the grill. My husband even used the grill to sauté some fresh spinach. Will try scallops & shrimp next time... or may some thinly sliced sirloin. Wonderful!
