It may look on line that is it not as big as some others that you can purchase but you will never notice that it has plenty of room. It is great that you can remove the cook top and wash it seperatly and you also have the choice of grill or griddle. The temperature element is very consistant and you can always trust Cuisinart.

The surface heats evenly, cleans up easily, and fits in a cupboard great. I haven't used the grill side yet, but I plan to and don't anticipate any problems. Overall, a great design and just what we were looking for.
