To season it, I cooked bacon in it several times before I cooked anything else in it.....perfect bacon that doesn't curl. Foods really do slide off. I've since bought some more pieces and I love them.
by Gail B. (Chattanooga, TN) In the past I have bought a $30 skillet every year because I always overheat it and ruin it. Then I just throw it away. Well no more! With just a little care and caution, my scan pan can take the abuse I give it. I no longer have to worry about overheating it or buringing food on it and ruining the no-stick surface. I always wash it right after each use. And I always use just a tiny bit of oil after I have heated the pan. In other words, I just follow the mfg directions. I love the scan pan! I love it so much that I asked spouse to buy me another bigger one for Christmas which he did. Great skillet!!!!
by Pamela (Washington, DC) 1 review We have been looking for a good pan for omelettes for months and this is perfect. The lower sides and nonstick surface are great for making real omelettes and we use the pan for many other things as well. If you can love a pan, then this is it!
