The skillet is well-balanced but not too heavy, has a nice handle, heats evenly. The glass lid makes it easy to see what's going on without lifting and releasing heat/steam. This one's a winner.

She bought one that was close, but the floor of the pan wasn't flat. so it didn't heat evenly. I saw this one and knew Circulons are great, so bought it as a gift for her. She's used it 3 times in 2 weeks, which is saying a lot for her! She said it's perfect (and told her husband he's not allowed to take it on his camping trips!)
