Cuisinart Black Programmable Filter Brew Coffee Maker:
This Cuisinart coffee maker comes with top-of-the-line features that include 24-hour programmability with a shutoff that you select (either instantly after brewing or up to four hours later). This coffee maker brews up to 12 cups of coffee and even lets you interrupt brewing during operation for a "I just can't wait" cup! The carafe has a dripless spout and an ergonomic handle. An audible beep alerts you when brewing is complete. Other features include a charcoal filter that removes impurities and a cord storage area. The Cuisinart coffee maker comes with a measuring scoop, #4 paper filter starter kit and an instruction book.

However, the appliance itself has a nice appearance, a full carafe of coffee is made relatively quickly--ten minutes for a full pot, and the filter cone is easily removable. Overall I prefer a better designed, more solid appliance. I suspect this one will have a short life.

I noticed on the box after it was unpacked that there was a white coffee maker on the box. Perhaps that could be indicated on the computer info of the coffeemaker.My pther cuisinart appliance, the toaster oven is white. the black one does work as well as the white one would!
