Cuisinart Traditional Round Waffle Iron:
This silvery little "pod" is actually a waffle iron, a modern day small appliance from Cuisinart. It bakes one large, traditional-style waffle. Customize yours by choosing one of the six brownness settings. There's a red light that lets you know the waffle iron is on and a green light that means it's ready to bake then ready to eat. An audible tone also alerts you. The baking plates are nonstick so your waffles pop right out. Other features include cool-touch handles. For storing, the lid locks in place, the cord wraps then the entire unit can be placed on its side.

by Michele (APO, AE) 1 review If you like your waffles on the thinner side (not Belgium-style), you will really like this waffle iron. I like that I can make my waffles the way I like them- a little on the crisp-side. The iron is very easy to clean, especially if you cook with a brief spray of Pam and do not overload the iron with waffle mix or it will pour out the sides. The iron heats up quickly and beeps when it is ready (both for cooking and when the waffle is done). I would most certainly buy this waffle iron again.
