by Kathy (West Chicago, IL) 1 review I recently purchased my 4th toaster oven. I would try to save money on the "cheaper" valued ovens. They always broke after less than a year. Well, I decided to spend more money and get what I wanted. I LOVE my decision! My Cuisinart is great. It toasts in half the time as the others. The only negative that I can see, is that it does not have a timed off switch. There are times I put bread in to toast, and run around while it's toasting. It would be nice to have an auto shut off. Other than that it's great!
by Joan (Croton on Hudson, NY) 2 reviews I get tired of the short life of toaster ovens, so I'm hoping this one will be the exception. So far, I love it. It does the job quickly, evenly, efficiently. There's even a bell to alert you when your toast is done. Don't you hate cold toast? It's also designed well, befitting a Cuisinart product..
by John (Hollywood, FL) 1 review I read the reviews of so many of the products and this one seemed to get a lot of support. The price was decent, the brand respected. It toasts well, and in my opinion fairly quickly; great feature is the buzz it makes when the toast is done! Now you don't have to wait and watch. The oven works well and heats through - so much better than heating my main oven for a small job. The buttons are easy to read, easy to use and look like they will clean easy. The inside size is larger than my previous cheap model, but not too big. Even the exterior dimensions are not obtrusive and fits on the counter well. The look is fine, though I was hoping for less plastic; and nothing seems to be made anywhere except China - UGH! I will await the clean-up and long-term wear to give a final evaluation. Recommend purchasing!
by Kristina (WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) 4 reviews I've been using this toaster oven for a little over a year now. I mostly use it for baking a few cookies, broiling cheese-topped items, and of course, making toast. Placing the rack in the recommended positions does help with the quality of the results. Toasting and broiling work well, but I find that cookies get a little too browned on top before the centers have sufficiently risen. Having the crumb tray access in the back isn't ideal but not too big of a problem. The toaster is attractive and well made...much more so than the previous cheap Black & Decker I had. I use it almost every day and would buy it again.
