by David (Jenison, MI) 1 review I bought this coffee maker to make coffee for friends and tea for myself. The grinder works as advertised. My friends report that the coffee tasted excellent! The best features are: removable water tank makes fill-ups easy and accurate, charcoal filter is a nice touch that can only help coffee flavor, overall feeling of excellent quality – no flimsy pieces, good styling – looks good on my counter without a cover and the ability to make tea. The features that I’m not so crazy about: the grinder is not easy to clean – static electricity keeps the grounds clinging to the side and is difficult to brush out (should be submersible for easier cleaning) and directions only specify making tea with loose leaves – my favorite tea is in bags. Overall, I don’t have any serious complaints about this coffee maker. It’s a welcome addition to my kitchen.
by Ellen (Bel Air, MD) 4 reviews I replaced a small two cup coffee maker with this product. I am well pleased with the result. I do not need nor want a large 12 cup pot as only two or three mugs are used each day. Some times its coffee and sometimes its heating water for tea with tea bags. I have yet to make a pot of tea with loose tea leaves, but it should do as good a job with that as with the coffee. I also have yet to grind my own beans since I have a large canister of regular ground coffee to use up.
