Sanyo Space Saving Two Level Toaster Oven:

From Sanyo, this is the Super Toasty oven, a two-tiered oven that takes up minimal space yet offers enough room for toasting bagels, hamburger buns or open-faced sandwiches. The Super Toasty toaster lets you brown bagels perfectly every time: placed cut-side down, the bagels' thicker tops warm from the top while the cut sides crisp and brown more deeply. Use the top rack for melting cheese on open-faced sandwiches or broiling the tops of mini pizzas. Use the bottom rack for reheating or keeping food warm. For timing your foods, the Super Toasty oven comes with a 15-minute bell and an auto shutoff. For easy access, the racks with metal trays slide out when the door is opened. The Sanyo toaster oven comes with a removable crumb tray and a cord storage holder. (Item #315034) w8

While it takes a little longer to toast some items, the finished product is perfect. Another plus is that it saves counter space! We kept our old toaster just in case we weren't pleased with this one, but I think we can safely find a new home for the old one.

A good choice

This is a delightful appliance - unlike many others, this one is nice to look at as well as being efficient. Only drawback, it is not a toaster-OVEN - no temperature control, just the timer. I have managed to adapt it though by using different levels for the tray, when I want to heat certain items. Terrific for toast, and NOT slow, as some others have indicated.

ok so if you are looking for a toaster oven that you grew up with in the suburbs that fits a full pizza and you can use as a second oven - this is not for you. I am a suburbanite, living int he city and missed the convenience of a toaster oven to make toast, heat things up and melt cheese, make sauasges - and this is perfect - it takes a little getting used to as there is no conventional temperature control as with most toaster ovens - you can just turn the top and bottom heat elements on and off - so def not something to leave unsupervised until you are more comfortable with it. It does perfectly what i want it to do and it is small - perfect for a city apartment without a lot of room. and perfect for a singleton or couple that do not need the oven action as much.

I never thought I would use a toaster oven. I'm one who doesn't like a lot of appliances sitting around on my counter. This product is very nice looking and doesn't take up a lot of valuable space. Both my husband and I use it every morning for breakfast food. I also use it for toasting buns when I cook hot dogs or hamburgers. My husband has even cooked hot dogs in the oven. We are internet shoppers, and your price was the best!
