Sanyo Smokeless Indoor Electric Grill:
"Best Overall. Best Value," The Wall Street Journal 2005.
When inclement weather keeps you inside, you can still grill using this indoor barbecue grill from Sanyo. Fill the drip pan with water before you begin grilling and you can cook with virtually no smoke in your kitchen; the excess fats drip into the pan below, extinguishing any smoke and allowing for healthier cooking, too. The extra-large grilling surface measures 200-sq. inches and is nonstick for easier cleanup. The temperature control is adjustable; turn it down low for cooking tender vegetables and delicate seafood or turn it up for grilling heartier fare like steaks, pork sausages and chicken breasts. The Sanyo indoor barbecue grill has a cool-touch base and handles; the drip pan is removable and is dishwasher-safe. The indoor grill comes with a bilingual instruction manual that also includes recipes. Weighs 8-lbs.

by Clair (Denver, CO) 1 review Called customer service &the rep. really couldn't give me an anser why it took so long to heat up. He said"maybe your house is too cold. I don't think so, Hopefully the heating element isn't defective. It took approx. 10 minutes to reach the 350 degree temp., is this normal?
by elizabeth (two rivers, WI) 2 reviews This indoor grill worked like a charm and I am very glad I purchased it...It would make a perfect gift for that hard to purchase person. It was a purchase I made to myself to start living more healthier and it was a great way to kick off my new me. Thanks BC
by Jeannine (Davis, IL) 2 reviews Sorry to say this grill does smoke, it burns the bottom of food put on it (shish-k-bobs) and it does not cook around the edges. There are prime spots in the middle that cook well. Food (shish-k-bob) has to be put evenly on stick to cook. Its an ok product, i am not going overboard about it.
by Nancy (Charleston, WV) 1 review I love the grill. The only thing it did smoke
more than I would like for it to. It wasn't
smokeless, but other than that we love it. We
have only grilled steaks so far.
