So, after a couple of glass French presses were broken, I decided to buy this metal one. It makes one big mug of coffee. And it doesn't break! One can't see the coffee, of course, to judge the strength of the brew, so it's important to notice the time. And, really, 12 oz is really one cup of coffee these days. Overall, love it!

Since I am the only coffee drinker in the household, it is the perfect size - makes one large mug full of some of the best coffee I've ever had.
