by Susan (WASHINGTON, DC) 1 review Although the vacuum does have great suction power, I wouln't recommend it to others who have a lot of stairs - it's very, very heavy and not easy to carry. In addition, the extension wands are very awkward and difficult to use . Similarly, the extension wand isn't easy to use at the edges of furniture, since it requires crouching at what it a very painful angle for someone like me with a herniated lower disc in my back (I'm 5'4)
by Heather (Littlestown, PA) 1 review Love, love, love this vacuum! With five pets, my family liked my bagged Hoover, adored my bagless Bissell, and love this vacuum. It does a wonderful job and provides visual entertainment! The pusher gets to watch the fur fly around the canister as it's picked from the carpet. Plus, more fur is picked up with the first sweep, instead of the return swipe.
by Janice (WELLSVILLE, UT) 2 reviews I've had my eye on the Dyson Animal Vacuum for quite a while because we have several cats, and a Dalmation dog which sheds like crazy. I wanted an easy way to vacuum stairs, and I also liked the thought of not having to buy bags, and not having that OLD VACUUM BAG SMELL!! I did have to place a call to customer support but after following their suggestions, I have it vacuuming as it should. The amount of hair that it is pulling out of old and new carpeting is...well, quite gross. Happy to not have it on me, and I can enjoy sitting on the floor again.
