by Henry (Avondale, PA) 2 reviews This is by far the best cookware I've ever used. We've used Cuisinart stainless for a number of years and now I'm wondering why we didn't switch long ago. This copper core cookware heats up fast and cooks so uniformly - absolutely no hot spots - that it's a real pleasure to use every day. It's a little less convenient to have to hand wash the pots but that's the only small 'negative' to the copper core set. And it's a trade-off well worth making in my view
by Matthew (Richmond, VA) 1 review I finally did what I should have done years ago -- spend a big chunk of money on a set of high quality cookware. I was finally fed up with pots that disintegrated after a few months.
This set is for people who are serious cooks, but can benefit ordinary cooks as well. It is dishwasher safe, but you'd probably be happier hand-washing. They display nicely, almost like works of art.
Two caveats -- they are significantly heavier than you may expect, and the pot lids get hot (use a potholder).
Nevertheless, if you want to buy a set of cookware that you can leave to your grandchildren in your will, then this is the set to buy. Take care of them, and they'll last you indefinitely.
