Marked off in five-minute increments, so if you need to be precise with the minutes, it's not the best timer. Also not the most reliable if you're timing under 10 minutes. Buzzer goes off a few minutes before time is up, which is a plus so you don't have to race to the over, but a minus because if you don't race to the oven, you could lose track of the time if distracted. A good second timer, but wouldn't like as the only timer.
