The Chef'sChoice Belgian WafflePro is extremely fast - it bakes four deep-pocket, Belgian lace waffles in 90-120 seconds. With this waffle maker, you control the baking time and temperature. No need to flip - both sides cook at once, browning both sides evenly. Choose from a fast bake (for a crisp outside and moist interior) or slow bake (for a crunchy, uniform texture). The waffle maker is equipped with a "waffle ready" beeper and includes a countdown timer that starts the moment the batter is poured inside. The nonstick baking surface and overflow channel are easy to clean; the electric cord stores neatly underneath when not in use.

Waffles are Dad's specialty. His recipe calls for stiff beating the egg whites then folding in the flour mixture and vanilla and is the Sunday Morning Favorite Breakfast for all our children and grandchildren before church.
When our old Belgian Waffle Maker burned out, he spent a whole day reviewing products on the internet before deciding to buy this one. We thought we had ordered it as we were having almost 30 people for Christmas week at our house. A few days before they were to arrive, we discovered we hadn't ordered it, so found it on www.cooking.com, ordered it and paid for overnite air shipping. It arrived promptly the next day. HOORAY. None of the other sites I checked would guarantee overnite shipping.
Dad made a triple batch of his waffle recipe and we tried it out. IT WAS SUPER. The waffles were ready in a flash, we didn't have to use any oil on the waffle iron, just a tablespoon of water. Nothing stuck, the waffles were done in 90 seconds and were crisp and delicious. Each person got a waffle, and by the time they finished using the butter and syrup the next waffle was ready for the next group of people to butter and pour syrup on theirs. We had waffles three times while the company was at our home and the waffle iron worked perfectly each time. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I get quick and satisfactory results and have never had the setting past #3. It heats up quickly and recovers quickly and performs above my expectations! Fantastic unit, I might have to buy a second one because my waffles are so popular!
