Chef's Choice Five-of-Hearts WafflePro Waffle Iron:

With a new modern design and a unique "floating" top plate, the Chef'sChoice WafflePro is one of the more advanced waffle makers on the market. In as little as 90 seconds, your waffles (five heart-shapes) will be ready for serving. The unique Quad baking system lets you select the ideal flavor, texture and color. With a simple flip of the texture select switch, you can choose either fast bake for crisper waffles with a soft, oven-fresh interior, or deep bake for a more uniform texture. This professional, heavy-duty waffle iron offers a "waffle ready" beeper, "baking" and "ready" lights, instant temperature recovery for continuous baking, a nonstick deep channel griddle and an easy-clean overflow channel. The "floating" lid guarantees uniform waffle thickness and baking and ensures incredibly easy cleanup every time. With a built-in cord storage compartment, the waffle maker can be efficiently stored in a space-saving, upright position. (Item #393357) w6

Too expensive, waffles too thin!

Don't bother with this - it does not compare to other heart-shaped waffle irons. The waffles are incredibly thin. Cleanup was easy, which is nice, but the waffles are not worth it.

Wonderful Product

I use this product several times a week and I'm very happy with it. I like to use the crisp exterior/moist interior setting. I have tried both settings (the other being uniform baking). They both do exactly as they are supposed to and the waffles are absolutely perfect every time! The timer is very accurate. Make sure to use only 1/2 cup of batter though because any more than that will definitely spill over. Also make sure the batter is not too thin. I have made several different kinds of waffles and none of them stick. I make sure the batter has enough fat in it to prevent sticking. I have also made blueberry waffles and waffles with raisins in them. Both times the waffles did not stick. The waffle grid is fairly easy to clean, but if you have enough fat in the batter, there is no cleanining necessary because nothing sticks to the grids.

This is a wonderful waffle maker and I highly recommend it.

I bought this waffle iron for my mom and she loves it. She makes beautiful italian cookies for christmas, so these just add to her delicious platters of sweets.

Awesome waffle iron!

I have had several waffle irons and this one is by far the best. Once you get the 1/2 cup scoop down there is no mess while cooking. With other waffle irons there was always the oozing mess. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.
