The top is very lightweight and feels and looks cheap. That said, it serves the purpose and was reasonably priced, so actually rates as a good value for the price. I probably would not buy this particular product again, but neither did I find it objectionable enough to send it back....

It's also dishwasher safe. All that in a neat little package.
