This blender works very well in chopping ice cubes, make smoothies and combining all the ingredients. It is a little noisy on the HIGH cycle, but what blender is actually quiet? I had Hamilton Beach for many years and love their product. Can't beat the plastic pitcher -- it's lightweight and won't chip or crack like glass.

LARGE SIZE, ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE

The wave logic blender is great for blending drinks and other liquids, but I found that the wave logic blender could be a better performing when blending frozen ice cream, i.e. I have to keep directing the frozen ice cream to the blades on the bottom or else they just keep bouncing around the blender. Other than that, it's a great buy, and in the end (with a little help from a me), always produces an expertly blending treat.

Customer ReviewWould not purchase againJul. 10, 2006

I did return the item, it was not any more powerful then my old blender. And the jar was to large for two peeps. And the jar was plastic. Will probably not hold up with lots of use, and dishwasher use.
