We felt it was better to buy her a unit that will hopefully making her cooking safer!! I know she has used it, but never said one way or other hos she likes it.
My husband and I have had 3 other nodels and always had issues with the handles breaking and the lids popping open. I have not tried this one, but it has to be better then the ones we had.
Kudos to kitchen.com for being very helpful when UPS delivered this to the wrong address!

The best thing is that it all comes apart to be cleaned. Love that!

We have used it only twice, and the black plastic piece that covers the filter already is breaking/chipping right where the piece connects. Oh well, the top is plastic and you can't have everything. Otherwise we are happy as clams! Mozzarella sticks are the best in this thing. And homemade french fries... we haven't had enough to go around!

I have to figure out how to get that taste the grocery store gets without the three inches of breading to make the box look like it's filled up.
