Make homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, sorbet and more using this machine from Hamilton Beach. It's fully automatic - no stirring and no need for ice or salt like the old-fashioned machines. An extra-large ingredient opening lets you add candies, brownie bits or fruit during the mixing process. The finished result is a soft, spoonable ice cream ( Homemade ice cream will not be the same consistency of hard store-bought ice cream). Other features include a carrying handle that locks into place and a transparent lid. Recipes included. Bowl will need to be frozen prior to operating.

by Diane (Punta Gorda, FL) 1 review The instruction manuel wasn't clear on how long to run the machine. It said the machine would turn itself off; it didn't after two hours. Another section said it would run for 90 minutes to two hours. Was that how long it took to make the ice cream? The first time I ran it until (I thought) it would turn off. The mixture turned to soup. Next time, I just turned it on (with the mixture in it) and ran for twenty minutes. It looked like ice cream, so I took it out of the machine, put it in a container and froze it. That worked best.

So easy to use & clean up is a breeze!!!.. No more using ice & rock salt as I had to in my old electric freezer..The ice cream comes out "soft serve" so I put in a container & freeze in the freezer & it comes out perfect everytime!!!

I made peach and strawberry ice cream. Very good. The instructions and recipes are easy to follow and use. Great product. Would recommend to others.
