Kuhn Rikon Red Vase Grinder:
Get the most from spices, seeds, and coffee beans by grinding them fresh with this attractive Vase Grinder. The ceramic mechanism of this CrushGrind system is sharper and stronger than steel, and the adjustment wheel moves easily allowing you to choose from extra fine to coarse grind settings. You turn it over to grind meaning it keeps counters clean, and the absence of a central spindle allows more room for larger ingredients.

by Linda (Tempe, AZ) 2 reviews this particular grinders were returned because the color was more orange than red. I am sure that the grinder is a good product i just did not use it and returned it instead.

by George (Albany, OR) 2 reviews A great item. We use our red one as a pepper mill. It does not leave a residue in its storage location, fills easily and works very smoothly. The continuously variable grind adjustment is easy to operate and seems to remain set where desired. The clear sides allow one to see easily the reservoir level. It is comfortable to hold and operate. The material used for the body seem to be well chosen to resist the cracking and discoloration that have befallen our prior pepper grinders a few months after purchase. We look forward to many years of service.
by Andrea (Croton on Hudson, NY) 5 reviews This is my third Kuhn Rikon Vase Grinder. I keep two on my kitchen table: one for pepper corns, one for coarse sea salt. The grind size is adjustable. I am using this new one to grind whole spices. So far I've used it to grind allspice berries, cardomom pods and cloves. Spices keep their flavor longer when they are whole, so I buy whole spices and grind them as needed.
