by janice (Dunellen, NJ) 1 review The reason I did not give this product 5 stars, is because there is no way to know when the oil has reached the temperature you have it set for. I relied on my cooking experience, and just holding my hand above the oil to give me a cue to its readiness. Otherewise I loved it, and it did a really great job, everything came out nice and crispy but not greasy.
