by LYNNETTE (Madison, IN) 7 reviews I wanted a deep fryer that had a lid for safety reasons. In my opinion this was worse than just having an open deep fryer. The steam comes out all sides of the lid. The handle broke the very first time I put fries in it. It completely split in two and I couldn't even get the fry basket out of the grease.

by Karl (Minneapolis, MN) 1 review The thing worked great for three weeks. Then it died, somewhere in the heating/control unit. Just died in the middle of cooking. I used a VOM to test current all the way to the thing - no, I was not having a problem with the magnetic plug.
When it works, it's great. I got another one - we'll see if that lasts.
