It replaced a plastic kettle, which made the water taste weird and who knows what kinds of artificial hormones it was infusing my water with. This kettle is not only elegant, but quick, functional, and energy efficient. I drink about 10 cups of tea a day and I would be lost without my Capresso kettle!

Clean looking, elegant, works as described. If America's Test Kitchen likes it, I personally have found their recommendations to be "spot-on" 95% of the time. This product hits the mark!
