Anolon Rachael Ray Oval Stockpot:
This 8-qt. Oval Stockpot is designed by Food Network chef and TV personality Rachael Ray specially for the Anolon Advanced line. Great to use for boiling pasta water or even cooking a delicious pasta dish like Chicken Carbonara, which requires stirring the pasta with a thick cream sauce and lots of cheese.
Features:
Restaurant tested by professional chefs, DuPont's Autograph® 2 surpasses all other standard nonstick formulas by delivering enduring nonstick performance - inside and outside the pan with superior durability that stands up to the rigors of professional kitchen use.
SureGrip™ Handles, a combination of durable stainless steel and silicone rubber, are durable and ergonomic, providing a soft, confident grip.
Stainless steel lid is professionally styled to seal in flavor and nutrients while steam vent holes in the lid prevent boilovers.
In a short time, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just-in-time have sold billions of books and made her one of the top personalities in food television.
by kathy (Ray, OH) 1 review i love this pan. it's been used everyday since i received it. i use it for everything from pasta to chili. just the right size for a family. usually have left overs for later or for the freezer. easy clean also.
by Roberta (Elkton, MD) 1 review The only thing I would change about this product is if there could somehow be a lid lock on it - its really awkward to drain - best to just drain into a collander otherwise you could be seriously burned. Other than that I really like this pot.
by Alice (Salinas, CA) 3 reviews I really like the pot, but for a non-stick pot that will have a limited lifetime (face it, folks, no's perfect!), almost $100 is too expensive.
by Debra (Roswell, GA) 7 reviews Stockpot is a good size. Not too small (5qt is usually too small) and not oversized. I especially like the oval shape because I can easily see the items in the pot and get to them better than in a circular pot. The weight is easy to handle as well and is well constructed. Love all things Rachel!
by Brian (O Fallon, IL) 1 review On the plus side, it's nice to be able to simply drop in your linguini. On the minus: it doesn't do a great job of draining pasta - noodles WILL escape. It could be heavier to make for more even heat distribution - especially when using it on 2 burners. The nonstick surface is not as durable as some. I would say that it is slightly better than my big old aluminum pasta pot, but just OK overall.
