We can not figure out the pattern as it does not really look like any musical note to us. The pattern is a very pretty swirl but not really a musical note. I am certain the pan will bake well as it seems to be a fine product but a musical note, I am not sure!

It also released easily, so the cake looked great. Very pleased with the quality and design. Definitely recommend this pan and this company.
