Le Creuset Caribbean Round Wide Dutch Oven:

Le Creuset's Wide French Oven brings the taste of Northern Italy straight to your kitchen. The shallow design of the pan ensures efficient evaporation of liquids and the sides are angled to fit perfectly with a risotto spatula. Even heat distribution guarantees that your risotto will cook perfectly time after time.

About Le Creuset… Since 1925, artisans have been crafting Le Creuset cookware in the French village of Fresnoy Le Grand. Each piece of Le Creuset cast iron cookware is handcast, polished, double enamel-coated and then fired, resulting in some of the finest quality cookware available. Cast iron is one of the best materials for distributing heat gently and thoroughly and is ideal for induction ranges. The strong enamel coating will not absorb odors or flavors, and is easy to clean. Heavy lids securely seal in moisture and flavor. Le Creuset cookware comes in a variety of sizes, colors and styles to match any kitchen and cooking preference. So lasting, you'll pass your Le Creuset on to the next generation of promising cooks.

Get this pot!!!
Customer ReviewWould purchase againAug. 11, 2009

I have several pieces of Le Cruset. I have always been frustrated when I see someone on a cooking show or online using a pan or pot and it seems to be such a good size and you've no clue what size pot they are using. So, I do have some pans that I don't use as often as others.

But, I love Le Cruset. I love the way foods cook in these pots. I have two favorites that are my most used pots. The 3 1/2 qt. wide round dutch oven is literally used every day. My second most used pot is the 6.75 qt. wide round dutch oven ( also referred to as a risotto pot). This pan is so versatile because of it's size. The clean up on these pots is an absolute breeze.

These are expensive pots and pans. But, they will still be going strong long after my husband's newest computer is outdated and long after the limited life-span of our high-def, flat screen t.v. It's nice to find a product that is still produced to last a lifetime and beyond, ---as opposed to so much that is designed to be updated, then outdated, then obsolete.

I'm awfully happy I own this pot. It cooks beautifully. It's heavy, but awfully nice.

Wish I had this dutch oven 10 years ago, it cooks more evenly than any other I have ever had. The clean up is a breeze. It is well worth the price.
