by Matthew (Germantown, TN) 1 review I had a cheap toaster that had a spring-loaded timer switch, the kind that, if you wanted to toast something for 3 minutes, you had to turn the dial to about 12 minutes so that it would spring back and land on 3 minutes.
Needless to say, it was never very accurate and I burned a lot of bagels. I thought it was a bit much to pay $199 for a toaster but once I set the digital timer for the perfect bagel, I have had a perfectly toasted bagel every morning.
It will pay for itself with less stress and fewer burned bagels!

For small meals, it cooks so much faster than my full size gas oven. My only complaint is the digital timer is set with up and down arrows - no numbers, so it takes patience to set the time. Otherwise, I could not be happier.

by Merrily (Philadelphia, PA) 1 review It does toast well. And the oven seems to work well. I do not like the beeps when toasting is done. The top of the toaster oven gets very hot. I have to be careful not to touch it. It could be easier to use. I still don't quite get the numbers that light up when I want to toast.
