The knife is razor sharp and the wooden board is beautiful. I am looking forward to feedback from family and friends whom I know don't own Wusthofs, but will be converts soon. At the $20 special offer price, it was also easy on the wallet. Only complaint is we Canadians do not get free shipping for any order no matter the size. Lots of excuses, brokers, out-of-country shippers, etc etc. If I say this enough, it may make a difference some day. Hope is eternal they say.

However, in November he needed a small knife to cut up a deer that he had shot and the large Wusthof chef's knife was to large. So needless to say I had to give him his Christmas present. This knife is amazingly sharp. Perfect for cutting up the deer for processing. I have since used it on several different items while cooking and it is just great!! I only paid $20 for the set. I haven't used the board yet, but it is very nice looking and seems sturdy. I definately recommend this knife/board set. Anything Wusthof.
