But, with items that may contain liquid, such as meat, even a slight amount, pay attention to the operation manual and throw it in the freezer for an hour or 2 before sealing with the vacuum, otherwise it won't even seal. However, I have found, by experimenting, that you can boil these bags, cooking the contents very easily in it's own little packet.

The product worked great and I had such fun I was looking for more items to vacuum seal! I vacuum sealed a pork loin, two types of cheese, and resealed a bag of chips in minutes. I foresee using the sealer everyday.
