by Carole (Meridian, ID) 1 review Makes excellent coffee! However it is very difficult to tell when the coffee is done brewing. Also, the size is very misleading. We purchased the 9 cup size, there truly is not enough coffee for 9 espresso cups. Wish we had purchased the larger size, but again the price is high.
by Susan (Rockport, WA) 13 reviews I had purchased a smaller version of this pot from a local kitchen store and loved the functionality of it. The only problem was the size. My husband enjoyed the taste so much that he started drinking morning coffee with me hence the need for a larger pot. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to brew a superior cup of coffee. If you make regular coffee instead of espresso this will make about 2 mugs at one time.

This product is all aluminum, so I use it over a maximum burner setting of medium AND I don't leave it alone during the brewing period---when the coffee's done, the heat needs to be gone or this baby may turn into a coffee flavored puddle of molten metal. It's diameter is slight, so I set it to the edge of the burner enabling the handle to hang over a cool area and not heat up so I burn myself with it later. Lastly, the design is purely European, so I knew the cup measures offered were demitasse---a word of warning there for your unaware shoppers. I'm satisfied that if you feed this maker good coffee grounds, it'll offer you a great brew. What else is there?
