The one thing I am greatly disappointed in is the fact that additional slicing and shredding discs aren't available for this model. It comes with two slicing discs and one medium shredder disc. I wish it had an additional thicker slicing disc and a finer shredding disc. I called Kitchenaid and they said they have no plans to provide such discs for this model food processor in the future.

In other reviews on this product some folks indicated it was large and that's true. However, it would have to be larger than ordinary food processors to provide such wonderful versility. It's been 20+ years since I was in the market for a new food processor so it was quite a decision. I'm so glad I purchased yours---it's perfect!
