I am able to bake a whole lot of breads and different stuff in my kitchenaid in big batches, freeze them, and make stuff later.. life has become really simple using the kitchenaid.. now my husband has also started baking just because it is so easy to do it with the mixer. THANKS kitchenaid for making this and keeping the good quality
by Liza (Toms River, NJ) 1 review This is the first KitchenAid stand mixer I have owned. Overall I believe the KitchenAid Stand Mixer is a great deal for the price I paid. The only thing that I would change is the way the bowl fits into the mixer. It is difficult to get it seated properly.
by Michele (Rye, NY) 1 review I do love my new mixer but miss being able to lift the head to scrape the bowl and beaters- as I could with my smaller version. But, after 32 years of doing my mixing with my smaller KitchenAid, this is much more powerful and requires less scraping to begin with!!
Would definitely recommend it for someone who loves to cook and bake.
by Chris (Seattle, WA) 3 reviews The special spiral dough hook available on the 5qt and 6qt kitchenaid mixers is the closest thing you can get to a professional-grade spiral mixer, and makes incredible bread. The only complaint we have is that it doesn't do very well with small batches (e.g. whipping 3 egg whites), but it's hard to expect that from such a large mixer.
